The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede , has confirmed that Registrations for the 2019 JAMB UTME will begin by the end of October.

According to Prof Oloyede, JAMB is currently fine-tuning the registration process for the exams, based on experiences from the previously conducted exam. It was noticed that a good number of less qualified candidates applied for the exam last year , thereby causing unnecessary baggage for the board.

Prof. Oloyede had earlier stated that the cost of the JAMB Registration Forms will be left for FG to ultimately decide. He then added that; “We are not interested in the money. We are interested in having adequate preparation for those who are genuine students" .

The actual dates for conducting the 2019 UTME is yet to be announced, but the Registrar has assured the public that it would not clash with the coming 2019 Elections .
